Permission was given for Mythical Bay (IRE), Objector (IRE), Turtle Reef (GB) and Lady Dora Mae (IRE) to all wear a red hood to the start.
The Veterinary Officer reported that upon inspection Empirical (IRE) was grey and not bay as published in the racecard.
The Starter reported that Lady Dora Mae (IRE) refused to enter stalls and was withdrawn at 6:04 pm.
George Boughey was informed that the filly could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
Following the race, Harry Davies reported that Tewkesbury (IRE), placed fourth, ran too free.
