Leaving the stalls, Roc De Fer (IRE), unplaced, jumped left-handed, bumping Rogue Invincible (IRE), unplaced, on two occasions and causing that colt to lose its early position, but after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 1 furlong after the start when Space Invasion (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Alec Voikhansky interfered with Boy Star (GB), unplaced, ridden by Harry Russell.
Voikhansky was cautioned for careless riding as he had angled his mount left-handed when insufficiently clear of Boy Star (GB), causing Russell to take a slight check.
Following the race, Callum Hutchinson reported that Breathe Easy (IRE), placed third, lugged left- handed and Kieran Shoemark reported that Hurricane Laughter (GB), unplaced, hung left-handed.
