it was very straightforward and she jumped well. We schooled her on Friday morning and were delighted with her. She jumped very well over the five fences, she only went up over them the once but jumped them lovely. She travelled, they went steady. The drop of rain did no harm last night, we were praying for a bit of rain. Her jumping was never great from the word go. Even before she came to me I believe she got more schooling than any horse in the country. She was never a natural but it came to her. When she came to us first we did a lot of schooling with her and took a lot of time. I think she’s my fifth first-time-out winner this season since Big Debates started in September. B. Hayes, rider of Park The Giant, trained by Philip Fenton, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount stopped quickly close to the last fence and jumped it poorly as a consequence, the Raceday Stewards reviewed the incident and were satisfied no further action was warranted.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Park The Giant, trained by Philip Fenton, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be slightly lame on its left fore. Samples were taken for analysis.

An extended handicap steeplechase for four years old and upwards that have not won a steeplechase before 1st February 2025, other than one hunters steeplechase within the previous two National Hunt seasons (120 = 11st 12lbs)
Penalties - Winner of a steeplechase after calculation of the handicap shall carry 7lb extra for each steeplechase won.
