He’s a four-year-old and we didn’t think it would take him this long to win but that probably is his level,. Ronan gave him a great ride and the horses at home are in great form. We’ve brilliant lads at home helping me out every day and they are getting a few results too. We’re delighted. If he could win another one it would be great.

Mark Fahey stated that his charge is a frustrating type and they have varied the headgear and today they dropped him in and he got a clear run. The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Gerard O'Leary, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Star Mind (GB), placed second, as compared with its recent form. Gerard O'Leary stated that a stiff track today coupled with learning more about his charges' ideal trip had helped to bring about the appareant improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.
