Bog War is taken to come out on top again, though it promises to be close between himself and the runner-up then, Glib Speech, for this first prize of over six thousand euros. However, Bog War, a Punchestown and Galway festival winner in his time, has slipped back into a grade where he could easily continue to make hay now that the winning spark is back. Carvelas and Spinning Pearl are two others for the short-list. It'll be interesting to see if the fitting of a tongue-strap can do anything for Miss Mirabeau, whilst it's a visor on Easy Boy now instead of the various other head-gear he's sported in the past.
