FormscanBy Eamonn Murphy - SUMMAYA sprung a 10/1 surprise when blinkers brought her forward enough to land a maiden at Cork a fortnight back. The runner-up on that occasion, Hans Holbein, franked the form at Leopardstown on Thursday, and the Azamour filly can now make her race fitness count. Of course the selection also makes added appeal on the basis of the flying form that her stable is experiencing. Pleasach is greatly respected, but we haven't seen her since July, and both her runs came on good to firm ground. Early betting on this contest suggests that Bocca Baciata (course winner from a stable in good heart) and Diamondsandrubies are the other ones to be chiefly interested in, and that seems about right.
