Formscan - ZIGGY STAR (7) could be the answer to this competitive event. He performed well to be fourth in a Class 2 handicap at this track 19 days ago over 2000m. He can get the better of LOVE IS GOLD (4), who has had a couple of unplaced runs since a decent third at Deauville in a Class 2 handicap in early December. ALMIRO (3) ran well on his penultimate start when third in mid-January at Cagnes-Sur-Mer in a Class 2 event and can be on the premises. DRUMARD (2) is consistent and can once again give a good account of himself. GUILLERETTE (11) won last time at this track and should have a say in proceedings.
