Formscan By Tom Weekes - AFFORDALE FURY is a smart chasing recruit whose name-pronunciation can still catch out the odd bluffer. His only disappointing run last January came just 11 days after a fall but he subsequently bounced back with excellent Cheltenham and Punchestown Grade 1 runner-up efforts and is helped by having previous point-to-point form. Franciscan Rock and Favori De Champdou are closely matched on that Punchestown form but each has six lengths to find with the selection while Franciscan Rock fell on his recent chase debut. Daily Present was rated 133 over hurdles and is best watched on his return following a long layoff while Meetingofthewaters was well supported when disappointing here recently.
