Formscan By Eamonn Murphy - AMEDEO MODIGLIANI made a respectable return to the fray at Naas last time. Aidan O'Brien said prior to Naas: "Amedeo didn't run last year and he's just ready to start off. We think he'll take a big step forward from what he does but we were keen to get him started. We're not sure yet how far he is going to go as he does show us a lot of pace at home. We have a few different options later in the year, but we'll get Naas out of the way and see how that goes." My effort for a comment in running on Amedeo Modigliani went - waited with, soon raced in 6th and a little keen, effort straight and 4th 1f out, struck by rival rider's whip 100yds out and kept on same pace without threatening. He looks sure to progress on that third placed effort behind Still Standing, back in trip now on better ground. Mick Halford said on Surrounding: "She's in good form and she should enjoy the ground. She has a bit to find with a few of them on ratings – but she has the benefit of a run, which some of them haven't, so hopefully that will help her. We're looking for a good run from her, and if she’s placed we’ll be delighted." 'Fozzy' Stack meanwhile commented on Zihba: "Zihba is in good form and ready to start off. It looks a competitive enough race and it won't be an easy task for him with the penalty, but hopefully he'll run well. The filly (Harvestfortheworld) is coming back to something like herself, and we'll see how she goes. She's getting plenty of weight off a good few of them." Among the others to keep in mind are Imaging, Psychedelic Funk and Verbal Dexterity.
