Foley strikes again with Midnight Dusk
It is great to get two in a week and two two-year-olds as well. It is very important for Donnchadh (Doyle) as well. Delighted the horses are starting to hit form. We will probably be 90 per cent Flat and 10 per cent jumps. He had good form in his first run, and that race has worked out well.
Leveraging scores for Lavery and Colgan
I was delighted. I've always thought a lot of that horse. His first run was in the Tatts Sales (Stakes, Curragh) and he wasn't really quite ready, and he ran really well. I stupidly ran him on soft, and then he ran here and he scoped so dirty. I think we will just give him a break now. Whether we get phone calls or not, he could be on the market. I'd love to have him for next year. I think he will make into a lovely horse for next year.

Caffrey doubles up as Nikki Swango wins again
Adam said she gave him everything. She's never had a gallop since she ran here the last day, we just keep her sweet, keep her in and out and let her enjoy it. She's just flying, but we don't gallop this filly at all. I was going to work her last week, and they said don't work her, so we didn't. In all fairness, she has run well fresh and she has just been a revelation. Adam was brilliant on her. We'll have to give her a little bit of a breather, I could do with a breather myself!. We will have a look at something on Good Friday. I don't know what he (handicapper) is going to give her on the grass either. It could be interesting to see what sort of mark he'll give her - I doubt he'll leave her in the low 40s!. I think the fillies' race in Newcastle is definitely worth looking at. Hodd's Girl was third in it, and we get good money in it. You are looking at 60 or 70 thousand to the winner. Great prize money there. I know the Curragh are supposed to have racing on Good Friday this year too, they have promised a lot of money as well, so we'll see. We'll definitely be looking to stay with the all-weather.

Far From Dandy gains repeat win
We are getting great support (from syndicate) up here on Wednesday's and Friday's. They are definitely enjoying it. It is a fabulous racecourse and it is great to give lads something to look forward to during the winter time. It is a fabulous outlet week in, week out. He was very impressive the last night in a slowly-run mile and did well to quicken up in the '80' grade. Obviously, it was a step up in the '90' grade tonight, but they went a nice gallop. Leigh Roche's horse (Rockbury Lad) gave us something to aim at up the straight. It was a really true-run mile and I think that is what he needs. He could even get a little bit further in time, but we are going to stick to a mile. He's definitely reliant on pace because he is a hold-up horse. He's a three-year-old horse and we will find something there in the new year. It will be kind of a Newcastle plan with him maybe as well. He's a horse that has a lot of talent, but is still growing up mentally. He's still a little bit babyish, and hopefully that will give him confidence. He's a fine horse.
Caffrey records 251/1 treble as Ado secures trainers' title with a double
Keep the faith! I'm delighted for Stephen (Reddy, owner) because they have had this horse with me for a while. From nearly pulling the plug with him, he would throw a good run in. The last day was good, and he was unlucky not to win. Adam was brilliant, he is riding brilliantly and has had three winners. He's a fabulous rider. They have to improve 3lb when they lose the claim and he has definitely. He is a big, strong fella, works very hard with his weight. He's very strong in a finish and he's a very clever lad to ride on all types of horses. He should get probably more recognition than what he does get. I suppose it is a shut shop in a lot of yards in Ireland. He is heavily associated with me and I'm very lucky to have him. When he was an apprentice, it was nearly like robbing 5lb and 3lb at times. He's top class. Hopefully, he can stay progressing, just a matter of getting new horses and good horses and outside rides. I think he will.
