. We were delighted with him the first day in Fairyhouse, we thought that was a brilliant run. We just had to take it on the chin the last two days. He's a lovely horse. We bought him back in March (for 4,000 euro) out of Tattersalls Online. He was in a claimer before that in Dundalk. I was kicking myself that we didn't go up the same day. He came into the online sale. I was in college that day but was bidding away on him between lectures. When I got him, it was some thrill. That was his first win over seven (furlongs). In fairness to my father, he picked this race out a good while ago. At his age now, maybe seven furlongs would be more suited to him.

He ran a blinder the last day (second at Leopardstown),. Pity for Sadhbh (Tormey) now, she got a bang on the head yesterday. She had a bit of concussion. She got a good tune out of him too. It was great to get the win with him. He's a long time trying to get a win. He deserved that. Reese gave him a lovely ride there. He's good value for his seven.

His focus was much better today with the cheekpieces,. Ryan (Moore) just felt he was waiting in front the last time (at Newmarket). I thought he won impressively today. It was a great run from the filly who finished second as well. Delighted to get some black-type with her. I'd say he'll go into a Group race now. I think there's more to come from him, he's quite a good horse. We've always tried him quite highly and always had good thoughts about him, and he's not finished yet.

We weren't sure what to expect today,. We liked her going to Dundalk for her debut, but she didn't really show up on the day. She had a nice break and, in fairness to her owners John and Janine, they have been patient with her because it just took us a while to get back to where we wanted her. Even today, she exceeded our expectations. So hopefully, she is now back on the right track. She's a sister to (Group 3 winner) Princess Child, that the guys have, so hopefully she can go on to do something like she did.

He's a horse in the making,. We won't be in a rush to run him back now. We had contemplated bringing him to York for the Ebor Festival, but I don't think we will. I'd say we'll wait for three or four weeks. Coming back here 15 days after York was always a bit of a worry. He's definitely a horse for the future and is only going to get better next year.
