Murray completes double in opening juvenile turf races
Two Stars scores for Stack and Sheridan
he’s improving with age, he’s just one of those late maturing sprinters that is filling into himself the whole time. He’s a big striding horse and you don’t need to get into a row with him. He ran well in Doncaster last year but you won’t see him running over six furlongs again. He likes that ground, will probably have to go up in class now and could go for one of those races at Naas, either side of the Punchestown festival.
Pickersgill earns her stripes
Robbie (Colgan) said she wasn’t doing a tap out in front and then spooked at the 200-yards yellow marker: she then picked up and went on again. She’s been training very well but is just a bit opinionated when around the parade ring. I think she’s an awful lot better than what she showed there. She was a bit fresh and buzzy today on her first run (of the year). She is going the right way, and I think she will keep improving.

'Misfit' Big Gossey bags Gladness glory
All's well that ends well for Cromwell
it wasn’t the plan to make the running, and I thought she was going a fair gallop. Over the trip I wasn’t sure whether she’d stay but she was gutsy, and she did. She was fit, had the run and it’s a nice pot to win (first prize of €15,000).
Indigo Five registers third Curragh success
she won well, is a tough mare and it’s nice to win another handicap up the Curragh with her. She is probably Listed class but we might take in another handicap before that. She has won on good ground to heavy ground so is very versatile and might get a mile and a quarter as she’s getting a bit stronger. She hit the line well.
