her winter form was good, she went for a break then and has come back twice the mare and looked really well. We purposely waited for the new season to reappear and she is a nice mare, so hopefully keeps improving. She has always shown a nice bit and I'll see what Frank (Berry) and J.P. (McManus) want to do now. Hopefully she has a future ahead of her and I'm delighted for the McManus's.

It was a good performance and I'm a bit surprised as we haven't done a whole lot with her at home. Her work wouldn't inspire you that she'd do that today, but obviously comes alive when you need her so is one to look forward to. The owners (Mayo man and owner Pat Moran) had her in point-to-points with Colin Bowe, but couldn't sell her and then I got her. Pat's brother Brian bred her. She is a lovely big mare, won her point to point well and to win a bumper is a bonus.
