She's a lovely mare. She got a big splint last year after pulling up a bit lame in Ballinrobe and we minded her. We gave her loads of time,. She's a proper one, this is a good mare with a big heart. She's out of a King's Theatre mare and has a big pedigree. I think she'll be special for those summer novices. She's not your normal one. When that bumper winner came to her there she outstayed her.

We thought he would have won a race last year and he just didn’t,. He was unlucky here with Hugh Morgan last June. If he had jumped the second last Hugh thought he would have won. He got an easy enough lead there. I thought he’d want a flatter track but the owner (Martin McGowan) only lives next so he was always going to have to run here. It’s great for him. He’s a horse that won a bumper and you’d think he’d be better than this level, even at his age. You’d hope he might be able to do something more again.

I’m delighted, that’s brilliant. The horse had been going really well at home but I was getting cold feet and was nervous when I got here,. I’m delighted to get the win and a bit shocked to be honest. He’s working at the beach now at home and working really well. He won well there, he was fit today. I have the licence since 2018 but we took a gap last year because we bought a farm. That’s my first runner in a year-and-a-half and hopefully it’s all systems go now. We have a few in but I could do with more supplies. If I get more tools I’ll make more masterpieces!. I’ve breakers in as well and the plan is to try and get more owners.
