Oxx eyes Listed race for Born To Be
He did everything right today. I got a grand toe into the race from Pat Smullen's (Impart) and just when I switched him out he quickened good and put the race to bed. He ran well the first day at Roscommon but was too free at Naas and tired because he was too free. The six (furlongs) was probably ideal for him and they went fast enough to settle him and it was a much improved run. He is happy with a little ease in the ground. If he settled I think he could be nice enough over seven and there is a Listed race for him at Tipperary in a few weeks next.
In-form Tithonus goes in again
Botanical scores for Rogers/Lordan
she has done nothing wrong this year and Wayne was good on her and sat and waited. She’ll go for another race over six or seven and likes an ease.
Indrahar shows a willing attitude
She took time to come to hand this year and that was good for her second run. She was very tough and genuine and her heart is the biggest part of her. She has a lovely temperament and ultimately you'd love to get black-type with her although she has a bit to go for that yet. She'll go for a handicap next.
Korbous claims fourth win at Cork
he has had a lot of problems over the years but always comes back. I’m thrilled with that and we’ll keep him to handicaps now and go to Killarney next.
Give Thanks for Best In The World
She got the trip well and liked the ground. There was a nice bit of pace on and Colm gave her a very good ride. She ran a very nice race at the Curragh when she was coming but never got through and a bit of nice ground was a big help to her today. They are two good fillies and have very strong form.
Fly Round The Bend one for the locals
She had been a bit unlucky a couple of times but Rory gave her a very good ride today from a very bad draw - he did well to get her across. She got stopped at Tipperary the last day and was unlucky. Her dam is a half-sister to Hurricane Fly and we have a few more half-brothers and sisters at home coming along. We'll aim her at something similar next.
