O'Keeffe breezes to a double on Eastern Wind
She was getting the hang of it as she went on and jumped slick over the last couple. Darragh said the quicker they went, the better she jumped. She probably idled a bit in front going up to the line. She goes on any kind of ground, and we’ll have plenty of fun with her over the summer. She’ll mix it with Flat and hurdles. It was great to win over a mile and a half (in Bellewstown) the last day which opens up more options for her.
Shadow Paddy boxes clever on handicap debut
He was a big weak horse and just got light after a few runs. The lads (Complete Package Syndicate) that own him know the game and were good to give him time and a bit of patience. He got strong for the break, and I’m delighted to get a winner for them. I think we’ll keep going with him for the summer.
Gimme A Buzz brings up plenty of bets in Tipperary
He’s out of a very good mare, Upsie, that Willie (Mullins) trained one time. It’s taken us a while to win a race with him, but we’ll keep going for the summer as he loved the ground. He got a lovely ride from Mark, and we’ll see where we go next. He’ll jump a fence as well.
Bitofajokelike forges Coen's link with McNamara
. The owners (The Jokers Partnership) are here in good numbers and have had a few disappointments, so they deserve that. I’m sure they’ll enjoy themselves tonight!. I ride out three days for Gordon (Elliott), Peter Fahey a couple of days and Ger O’Leary as well as Eric when I can.

Sunny South West has Power smiling
He’s a lovely horse with a very high cruising speed. In a perfect world something would go on a right good gallop and he could settle in behind. He was even a bit keen there today. Everybody thought I was a bit mad going for the big race in Punchestown, but I knew he was good enough. The race didn’t pan out as planned as they went very slow, and he was dropped in. He still ran a good race and came out of it fresh and well, so we lined him up for today. He might get a bit of a break now and come back over hurdles during the summer. He jumps very well, so hopefully that won’t be an issue.
