Kilbeggan Mon, 15th Jun, 2026  Love Like This It’s not before time, she had been second seven times,. She’s a real genuine mare and a lot of kids had their first ride on her as she’s really easy to ride. Tommy James and myself have her and in fairness we’ve been giving opportunities to young riders, and I’d say that’s contributed to her taking so long to win. I’m pleased for Brian Barry, he’s a good kid. She really deserved it. She has lots of ability and she could win a few now, please-God.

Kilbeggan Mon, 15th Jun, 2026  Ol Man Dingle He’s been a great horse for us and I’m delighted to get that,. It’s after taking a little bit of time for him to find his feet in handicaps so it’s nice to get that. The Plate has always been the target in the back of my mind so it’ll be on to there now. Ideally we would probably have liked to have gone straight there but off his rating today he’d have missed out twice in the last ten years. We just didn’t want to take the chance and that’s why he was running here today really. He’s won around Galway, he handles the track. It’s been one of the races that I’ve always wanted to win, I haven’t had many runners in it. Like a lot of people I’ve been going racing to Galway since I was a child. We’ll try and keep him in one piece between now and then.

Downpatrick Sat, 13th Jun, 2026  Joya Del Mar Hey Babbs was in season this morning, so we had to come with this one. She obviously won well here the last day, and she seems to enjoy it here. She ran in Sligo the other day and Ricky (Doyle) rode her and said she didn't even blow out a candle. I don't know, she's a tricky filly. Once she is sweet, she keeps going and that is the main thing for them all. It was the same here the last day - when she hit the front, she seemed to relish the hill. She flew up the hill.

Downpatrick Fri, 22nd May, 2026  Joya Del Mar She's a tricky customer. I thought she would win before now, to be honest. Plenty of ability and a nice mare. She was in season here the last day, so we will put it down to that. Coming down the weights and Ricky said she did things easily. Better ground and she jumped well, she enjoyed herself, and that is half the battle with these fillies. She was tricky to get away at the start and different things, but she has plenty of ability. I think so (starting to put it together), about time now. We are fond of Downpatrick; it has been lucky for me. I have good ground horses, so it is a big help.
