Punchestown Sat, 6th Jun, 2026  Switch From Diesel He was a bit unlucky the last day in Kilbeggan, it just didn’t work out for him on the night. He’s improved again and he’s a big raw horse, a fine-looking horse. It’s great for the Devine family because they bred him, it makes it even more special as he’s like a member of the family. Geraldine and Nick are delighted. He’s a horse that should keep improving and he’ll have no problem jumping a fence. Ricky said he’s raw, he’s on it and off it, and I’d imagine there is plenty more improvement in him. He won well, handles a bit of nice ground, so we’ll pick our tracks and keep going.

At this time of year you are trying to pick your tracks and pick your ground, and the ground was beautiful. She’s progressive and we’ll mix it between Flat and jumps. We'll maybe see if there is both a good Flat handicap in her and a good jumping handicap in her. It’s a nice stepping stone again and she’ll probably keep going while the ground is safe. She’s enjoying it. That wasn’t too tough on her, it was like a bit of work. Hopefully she can keep heading in the right direction.

Clonmel Fri, 5th Jun, 2026  Global Skies He had a good run here the last day but jumped a little disappointingly then. His jumping was very slick today and he got the job done nicely. That previous run was his first time racing in a handicap on good ground, which caught him out a bit, but he had the experience today. It is great for Charlie Doocey, from Mayo but living in the UK, and it is his first horse with us. Tom Harney, representing

Fairyhouse Thu, 28th May, 2026  Stone Bear We’re delighted, she’s a right little filly and is after winning three now. She has just improved because last year you wouldn’t have thought she was any superstar. She obviously handled Dundalk well, and won two up there, and has got better into the spring. She has a lovely pedigree, her dam won six, and she’s a half-sister to Four Blondes, who won a maiden. We probably bought her on the back of Four Blondes and, ironically, she’s now won more than her. She’s been ultra consistent and Siobhan gets a great tune out of her. She hit the line well in Naas the last day, over five, and we thought stepping up to six, and keeping her in her own age group, would suit. She’s going to be a good fun filly. I’m delighted for John Bowden. We’ll try and keep her in her own age bracket as long as we can, because it gets a bit harder with the older horses. I’m delighted for Siobhan to ride out her claim. Obviously she’s going out with my assistant Tom Harney. She’s an absolute smasher, she works really hard. She learned a lot in Australia, she was there for a year. The one thing she always said she wanted to do was to come back and ride out her claim and she did. They are back since January. She is freelancing and is a natural lightweight. She seems to get on great with this filly and rides a few for us. She’s basing herself on the Curragh and trying to get around a bit. It’s very hard in Ireland when you are
