Navan Sat, 19th Sep, 2026  Mother Ship We are after having so many seconds in the last nine weeks and we had two or three winners. The mare before that was second. I said to some of the boys, 'maybe my seconds are going to stop'. I thought Paddy was very good there. He took his time and came out for the better ground jumping the last two. She is tough and it was great. She has been knocking on the door and going up in the handicap. I'm delighted to have a winner after all those seconds and thirds in the last nine weeks. They are running well, just I was finding it hard to get my head in front. It gets in your head and after a while you think should you be doing something different?. They are a great crowd (Give Me A Name Syndicate) - they are from Kerry, Kilkenny, and out the road.

Downpatrick Fri, 18th Sep, 2026  Sea Of Doubt She eventually put her jumping together. I think it was August here last year, we thought she was a certainty in a handicap chase and she unseated Keith (Donoghue) at the fourth. She's a good, fun mare. I was just saying that's her 19th run for us, and she has only been out of the prize money five times and two of those were unseats. She's a great mare, she's not over-big. We knew they would go hard, so I said to Conor to take his time and just concentrate on getting her jumping. Fair chance she will come back here in October. She's back in a 0-100 hurdle as well, so she could come back for that.

Galway Mon, 7th Sep, 2026  Brandt that was lovely and it was a great ride by Carl. Ever since we got the horse, we always dropped him out last, but we said we’d change tactics today and make the running. Carl is very good from the front and he gave him a brilliant ride. He was always saving a bit in front. He wants further and I was happy enough that he would stay going. He was headed but fought back and was very game. It’s great to get him back on track, he lost his way a little bit and we got a few things done. We’ll look for something similar, maybe further again — maybe three miles. He’s a real stayer. Carl is with me full-time now so I’m delighted to get a winner with him.

Downpatrick Mon, 31st Aug, 2026  Driveonwill He was unlucky here at Downpatrick before Galway. Donagh couldn't get over how well he travelled today. He gets on very well with the horse and I'm delighted for him as well. We have been hitting the crossbar the last couple of weeks and a few near misses, so it was lovely for us. He's a lovely horse and I’m delighted for the people that own him, they are from Meath, and Paul Garvey would be the head of the syndicate. He would be a friend of ours and he actually built our house. I'd say definitely (look to come back to Downpatrick), because he could nearly have three won here (unseated in June). Obviously, horses for courses. We'll have to come back here again. He's a good, honest horse. I thought with the weight, giving a stone to the favourite, that it might catch him out, but Donagh said he felt great and he loved the ground.

Tramore Thu, 13th Aug, 2026  The Cobblers Wife I don't know who benefitted financially, but there seemed to be a lot of money for her. Mick doesn't bet and I didn't back her. She had a good run here her for her previous trainer on her second last start. She's well handicapped and if she can improve a little and build on that we'll go for the same type of race again. I don't know much about her. I only have her seven or eight weeks. She's a very straightforward filly that seems to like good ground. We'll make hay while the sun is shining.

The way he hit the line there, a step up in trip wouldn’t do him any harm either. They looked like they were coming to do him for a bit of toe going to the last but Kieren had him striding on well and he winged the last. He toughed it out well. I don’t know how strong the maiden hurdle was. I know Tyson Fury hasn’t won in this code but he’s a good Flat horse. Hopefully we can progress and he’ll be a nice horse over fences.

Cork Fri, 10th Jul, 2026  Hilly Filly Delighted with that, Lee gave her a lovely ride. You'd see the whole way round that she's quite green. We wanted to give her an educational ride and Lee done exactly that. . She always showed snippets of ability at home, so it's great that she went and done it today. And for Geoff (Angus), this is the second horse he's had in the yard. The first one didn't work out too well! She's a lovely filly and I'm delighted that she's done the job for him.

Wexford Tue, 30th Jun, 2026  Garnacho He was good. It was a novice chase, he was well suited as he got a few pounds off his back for not winning a race. It was great for Tom (O'Connor) to get a winner over fences as well too.
