Sligo Fri, 23rd Oct, 2026  Moorish Castle This fella is out of a good mare, The Green Lady, that I trained, so he has the breeding and the size, but Danny made the difference. I didn't give him any instructions, just let him do his own thing, and that's what I usually do. It was the same when I was able to get Ruby. I'd have horses with bits and pieces of form, but unable to win, and I'd put Ruby on them and they'd win, simple at that. Danny is my new Ruby!. I probably fancied the third horse (Spanish John) a bit more, and I was delighted with his run too.

Listowel Fri, 25th Sep, 2026  Marian Avenue we failed to have a winner here last year when we tried hard. This year we weren't as uptight about it, we said we'd just take it as it comes. We'd love to have a winner or two of course and it has worked out (this week). The fresh ground today is a big help to Marian Avenue. We said we'd jump out good and positive, try and get him jumping. He didn't travel the last day but Philip said he'd be good and positive and it work out great.
