In fairness to these small tracks around the country, they do a great job and we’re delighted to be able to come up. We got great word on the track from the last meeting, and the agent Gary Cribbin told us we’d be guaranteed that type of ground. My career is shoving on a bit now and we’re lucky to come across a mare like her. She’s actually a homebred. We produced the mother for the lads (Going Stone Mad Syndicate) and they went to Harzand themselves with her. I told the boys that we’ll surely be heading for some kind of a race in the likes of Cheltenham in maybe December. She has the scope to do it anyway, her jumping is something else.

Punchestown Sat, 2nd May, 2026  Hello Neighbour He deserved that as he has been trying hard all year. It can be a tough year stepping up for those juveniles and it was his first time stepping up to that trip but he was a Grade 1 winner and has that bit of class.

Navan Sun, 8th Feb, 2026  Zanoosh She’s on the upward curve, she keeps improving. She definitely has improved from the last day, stepping up from handicaps. I’m delighted with her,. She probably handles the ground really well as well. We would have been disappointed if she hadn’t gone and done it well. She had to do it without getting a hard race if you are to consider any graded races. She’s starting to get me excited.
