I suppose it cut up with the heavy ground and everything but he did it well. I suppose we are finding out as we go. We will probably go back chasing.

Gowran Park Thu, 22nd Jan, 2026  The Lovely Man An hour is a long time in racing!’ . Heavy ground is very important to him and to be fair he jumped so well over fences the last day that I thought he was a far better chaser than hurdler.

Navan Sun, 14th Dec, 2025  The Lovely Man He did (get the three miles nicely), but Keith gave him a lovely easy ride and he snuck around on him. He got it nice and smooth, and he jumped very well. Hopefully (more options now), I suppose we are going to be up to a mark now that he would get into the bottom of a nice race. It was a nice race to win today, a 20 grand race, nothing wrong with it.
