Fairyhouse Thu, 15th Jan, 2026  Kanog Bay I’m very happy as we really fancied him at Limerick the last day and thank God I redeemed myself today. It was probably the trainer’s fault going to Limerick with him for his first run in a handicap. They went very slow that day, it turned into a sprint and my instructions were probably a bit wrong. Conor (Stone-Walsh) wasn’t afraid to make use of him today and he’s a nice big horse who, hopefully in time, will make into a three mile chaser. He’s still a big raw horse and we won’t be too busy this season. We’ll give him another summer’s grass and see what he does.

Leopardstown Fri, 26th Dec, 2025  Ballyfad He showed a good attitude. We were a bit worried in his bumpers that he looked like he was a bit sluggish in soft ground,. Jack said he showed plenty of pace there and he was absolutely delighted with him. He seemed to like that ground. We were worried that he might not be quick enough on it but it was a good performance and we’re very happy. We’ll get him home and have a chat with Michael and Eddie and see where we go, maybe the DRF.

Naas Sun, 9th Nov, 2025  Tir Og she’s brilliant to train, does everything easy and seems to be improving a little bit all the time. She’s very straightforward and we’re very lucky because mares can be tricky but she’s taking her racing very well. We’ll give her a chance to recover now, she’ll get a little break and the lads are looking at getting a race over Christmas for her.
