Clonmel Thu, 16th Feb, 2023  West Breeze He always runs consistently, he is a big leggy fella although we were worried the ground might be tacky,. Chris Donovan started with Adrian Maguire and was with us but is now flying with Declan Queally - we said we'd better make use out of him after making him! Chris' family are steeped in racing and I went to college with his uncle. The horse has been on the go since we bought him as a three year old for E25,000 and he is owned by a great syndicate. We've had good days out but needed to get our head in front at some stage. Today was a long day as we had the whole yard running and we were depending on one of them to win. He needed to win today.

Naas Sun, 29th Jan, 2023  Western Diego he did it well, making all his own running which is a hard thing to do around here. That books his ticket to go across the water if Steve Parkin (owner, Clipper Logistics Group) wants to go, which I'm sure he will. It's nice for Steve who is more associated with the Flat.

Leopardstown Tue, 27th Dec, 2022  Dysart Dynamo He was pretty fast over the first couple of fences but then he just settled into a rhythm,. He threw in a huge jump at the first ditch down the back but then Paul seemed to pull him back and get him into a better rhythm, measured and he jumped his fences from there on home without any problems. He is what you see, he gallops and jumps. We'll just go up in grade now.

Tramore Tue, 6th Dec, 2022  Supremely West He was as fit as a fiddle from running in point-to-points. He is an excellent jumper and is about 16.1hh. We were more hopeful than confident coming up against all the big boys. He is a Westerner and they love that ground. To ride him you'd know that he'd like the likes of Tramore. . He is auld dinger, he is good and honest and that's half the battle. His wind is A1. I've had so many horses with wind issues that I'd take a horse with a leg instead! You have to get so many surgeries when they have a wind issue and then you might get the wrong type of surgery and it mightn't work, it's a disaster. . I have about six or seven in at the moment, mostly point-to-pointers. I used to have a few more for the track but the money is in the point-to-point game. I've had point-to-point winners last season and I've sold them all and made a good few pounds on them. 

Clonmel Thu, 17th Nov, 2022  The Four Sixes He did it really nicely and Davy seemed really happy with him. He handled the ground really well and obviously it's his first time over hurdles. We haven't seen him since he finished third behind Ballybawn Belter, so he turned the form around and proved he has done well with the bit of time he needed. It's also great for the owners. They're good supporters of the yard and it's lovely for them to have another nice horse. Lisa O'Neill, representing

Navan Sun, 13th Nov, 2022  Maxxum He'll step up from that there now. We'll have to look at something different the next day!. We thought he would win the first day, he was just a bit unlucky in running. He's won today so it is great. He did (travelled like a dream). I'd say he is alright and there is a good one (race) in him.

Cork Sun, 6th Nov, 2022  Cool Survivor The step up in trip suited and he took the step up in grade in his stride. Obviously the ground is bad enough but Jack said he got through it. He is a nice horse who is going the right way and will have to step up again in grade somewhere down the line. He will be a fine horse for fences but that is a while away yet. Ian Amond, representing
