it was great. He got 4lb for being second here last time and I thought for a horse in that type of grade he might be in trouble. Conor gave him a great positive ride. I just told him to jump out, I knew Ty Rock Brandy was drawn low and she can dominate, so I told him to go to the front and let him go hard. That's exactly what he did and he said got a breather into him before he turned in. He's a tough horse. He's a great fun horse. He belongs to Sean Gallagher and it's great to get another winner for him. Hopefully the handicapper won't be too hard on him.

He’s getting better with age. We nominated him for Dubai and he was off 90 today so we’ll see what happens. He’s never actually looked this well during the winter season up here. His coat is immaculate and his confidence is up. Vanessa gets some tune out of him and we always said he loved the women!. Before his hundredth start he’d never won two in a row and he’s won three in a row now. This horse has done so much for us and is part of the family at this stage. Vanessa is with Jack Davison but she rides work for us. She is a great kid and we will be using plenty more of her up here over the winter. We could come here once more before Christmas but if Dubai is on the cards we could go straight there. It’s up in the air at the moment.

What a horse, that's another 25 grand race!. When he's rated below 80 he's lethal and with Vanessa's 10lb claim that brought him below 80 again. What a servant, that's his 12th win. What more can I say and he's going to keep going here all winter. Vanessa said he absolutely tanked to the start and in better form than he was the last night. We've always tried to qualify him for Lingfield but it's just never happened. Maybe this year we'll have a go at it again and we'll see what happens. The horse is in great form and we'll keep tipping away. You could see there tonight with Colin (on Gordon Lord Byron) taking him on and Vanessa using her head. She's a very very good rider and she's one of the best apprentices I've seen. She keeps horses balanced, she doesn't complicate it and she has a good head on her shoulders.

What a horse! It was brought to my attention around Laytown time that he was getting close to his 100th start,. Laytown didn't go to plan so we said we'd try and get him ready to win on his 100th start. Vanessa is local to us and has started to come in and ride work. It's worked out well. We thought her 10lb would come in handy and he's won twice before for girls so we thought we'd give it a go. That's the third jockey he's given a first winner to as well. He's some servant — he's just deadly. We'll keep him going for the winter here now and try and pick up more money. He's only seven so there is still plenty to come and we'll crack away here.

He's a half-brother to Who's Steph and it's patience, patience with him,. He had a real bad stone bruise about a week or so after he won in Gowran and we just couldn't shift it, it took forever. He's a nice person of a horse! We took our time with him and I thought he was nearly finished as I wasn't sure whether this place was going to be riding well enough for us or not. The last few weeks when we started back I said 'right that's riding well enough' so we put him in, got a mark said we'd have a look at this race and then put him away to next year. We'll let him go baby steps next year. It was a nice performance and with another winter under his belt he might just be a nice horse, he's well related.

She’s very good and progressing all the time. I couldn’t take him off her as they are such a team together. Every time he’s ridden her they just click. He gives her a chance to find her feet and makes lovely steady progress on her. I thought he gave her a superb ride at Leopardstown by getting over from a wide draw to get a position. He deserved the ride here for that and did everything right. They were really travelling and were strung out. To go two miles at that pace and the way she found another gear off a fast pace, you would hope she would be a Gold Cup filly for next year. That’s it for this year.

He's slipped down the weights. Even though he went in the muck there he's better on a sound surface so I'm looking forward to him in Dundalk,. He should get another one or two hopefully. The handicapper isn't going to kill him. It's very testing out there, most of those horses need good ground out there and it's just who is lucky, gets to the front and gets through it. Colin was to ride him but I took him off and put him on Ken's Sam's because she had the inside draw and it was good ground at the time. It was great to get a win for Sean Gallagher who is a long standing patron of mine. It's great to get his name on the board.

We were very hopeful in a very competitive handicap,. He rode her exactly as I thought he would. He got her into a lovely rhythm, Leopardstown takes a bit of getting, and he took his time, steady progress, came with a lovely run and gave her a lovely ride. She's a big filly and she's progressed all the time. This is her fourth win from five runs this year and she's getting better all the time. I've actually made an entry for her at Group 3 level so it's in my mind that this filly has the potential to go on now and campaign at stakes level from now on. I have her in the two-mile Loughbrown Stakes at the Curragh in about three weeks time. Her class is just winning for her over shorter distances but I believe when she goes a mile-and-six or two miles that she'll be very comfortable at that as well. Her real potential is next year, and maybe the year after, but certainly next year is when she is going to develop into that big frame of hers. She's a lovely consistent filly. She's a very straight-forward filly, she doesn't take a lot of work, she likes to be fresh and she's just an improving filly.

We were very happy with her, she's progressive,. She won well in Sligo the last day and this was a step up in grade again and she's won nicely going to the line. Where she goes from here I'm not entirely sure but she's a filly that deserves a crack at a decent handicap now in the autumn. We'll see how she comes out of the race and see how we go then. She stays well, is honest, genuine, tough and only does what she has to do. She's a lovely filly and hopefully there is more to come from her.

He's a nice horse and obviously the pedigree speaks for itself. As you can see he's very much a work in progress. We expect him to be a 12 furlong horse in time. They didn't go much of a gallop there and you could see the greenness. It's not ideal beating yourself but that's life and I've given the other horse plenty of chances. It was a nice race to start this horse in. He's handled the ground, Steph likes soft. He's always been good and honest at home. I'd like to think he has a nice future ahead of him but he's one that we won't kill at three. We just have to look after him and go gently gently but it's a good start.
