Kilbeggan Fri, 15th May, 2026  Faceman It was a toss of a coin whether we’d go for this or the chase today,. He was unlucky the last day (fell in Tramore). He was jumping great, but just reached for a fence and it was one of those things. Thankfully he was okay after it. We wanted to see where we were, if we had improved over hurdles. This family improves with time and you don’t really know at home as he only shows x amount. I’m delighted for the lads (John and Michael Bowe), they are great supporters of mine and we’re having great luck together. He’s a lovely horse to have anything to do with and of course he’s out of the great mare (Solerina). I’d say he’ll mix and match it during the summer.

Cork Sun, 5th Apr, 2026  Onlymammycanloveme The plan was to come late, although maybe not quite as late, but he got there. He finished well and very strong and he stays. I thought they had gone a fair clip for three miles and he didn't seem to lie up early on, but had the stamina to get home. We thought all along that he is more of a chaser, but we had jumping problems this year and it took a while to get those ironed out. It was then late to go novice chasing, so he'll do that next season instead, and I'm hoping he will make a nice staying chaser.

Fairyhouse Thu, 15th Jan, 2026  Shanroe Act in Cork the last day, Donagh (Meyler, jockey) went to jump off and make the running, but ended up out the back of 25 runners. It was atrocious ground, mud just kept hitting him in the face and he could never get him to go forward. It suited well today, as he got a nice easy lead in front. He jumped well, he’s good and fit and straight and he was down off bottom weight. Today on that ground he was able to get his own way in front and it made a big difference.
