Cork Sun, 14th Jun, 2026  Sparan Nua She is still learning and was green enough today. We didn't get after her last year as she was a little bit weak, and today it is only her third run. Before she ran this year, we did a couple of bits of work with her, but I wasn't sure where she fitted. I said we'd give her a run to find out and that's why she was 25/1 the first day. She has a good attitude, and I'd say the Irish Oaks is where we'll go now. It was a good performance, and it is my first runner for Newtown Anner Stud.

Limerick Wed, 10th Jun, 2026  Imnotleavinyou She was second three times and I thought the last day we rode her a little wrong as we forced her a little early. She has plenty of gears so we decided we’d ride her different tonight. We have her declared for Friday night and we’ll probably run her as she’s in good form. Her owners are from all over, and one is actually from Limerick but is on holidays in Spain. There are groups from Dublin and Mayo as well, and they are good decent lads.

Gowran Park Wed, 20th May, 2026  Sparan Nua Declan said she is very, very classy. Very smart. It's her second start. She was a little bit on her toes in the parade ring for the preliminaries. Declan said everything went wrong for her. It wasn't the way he wanted to ride her at all. He said she just oozes class; the minute he pressed the button it was all over in two strides. He said she could be an Oaks filly. He said she just has oodles of class. He's riding enough of them to know. Look, she's doing everything right at home. Kevin (Manning) rode her work there last week. She's come on from her run in Naas. She's grown up mentally and physically. She's a beautiful filly going forward and we like her a lot now. The way she worked the last day and even here today. Declan was blown away with her there.
