THE BARRY DENNIS TROPHY HANDICAP HURDLE RACE (CLASS 4) An enquiry was held to consider interference after jumping the second last hurdle, when the winner Bollin Thou (GB), ridden by Sean Bowen, interfered with Paso Doble (IRE), placed third, ridden by Jay Tidball.
The interference was found to be accidental as Bollin Thou (GB) had jumped left-handed, and then edged further left-handed on landing despite the riders best efforts to straighten his mount, resulting in Paso Doble (IRE) becoming short of room on the rail and the rider have to take a check.
