Downpatrick Fri, 18th Sep, 2026  Kashchei To be honest, I thought this was a much better race than the last day when he was second. We would have taken being placed. He's a very unassuming horse, plenty of ability there, maybe doesn't always show it. He showed it there today. This is his track and I could maybe see him as an Ulster National horse next year, something like that. He's a chaser, but his jumping is very disappointing. We will work on that for the winter. I'd like to see him jump better. I'd say you couldn't go far enough for him, he's a real stayer and the good gallop today suited. Jack Lord rides him out every day at home and he does a great job with him, so delighted to get him to win. We'll look after him now, I think we will give him a breather.

Wexford Wed, 27th May, 2026  He's My Hero He’s a horse that should improve an awful lot, and Jack said he blew up two furlongs from home. He had winter form; he was so difficult to train and had been off for so long. He obviously had enough done at home; I was worried about coming out with a horse that wouldn’t have been fit. He always showed that he was a decent horse, but he got injured. We had him back and then he went again. He’s had no complications since the last time he came in. We’re just delighted. He was only beaten a length by Croke Park in his point-to-point and then his form was good but unfortunately the injuries happened. He’s a decent horse.
