Punchestown Sat, 2nd May, 2026  Fountain House We brought him to Ballinesker Beach in Wexford after he won on Tuesday and it is lovely for the likes of this horse to freshen them up. We bring them for a little walk up to their knees which is good for them. We wouldn't have run him unless we knew he was 100% and we'll get him home now and mind him. There are a few weeks left in the point-to-point season but we'll do what is right by the horse. We will have to look for these races and possibly the La Touche next year for him. Poor Eoin Mahon has done all the work with this horse but unfortunately is injured this week. We have the got the best of Rob James' 7lb claim this week and this is absolutely brilliant.

I didn't think he'd do it that easy but he is a proper horse and we've had great fun along the way with him,. He is a family-owned horse, we own him ourselves and unfortunately his regular rider Eoin Mahon was injured today. It was also Eoin that advised me to buy him and the horse hasn't looked back since then. I'm mainly into breaking and pre-training but keep a couple of these for the enjoyment. . We'll get him home now and hopefully we might run him again on Friday or Saturday. . Next year, for sure and following that performance today, we'll look at the La Touche back here. I think he is really coming into his own now and that is as good a performance as he has done.

Limerick Tue, 31st Mar, 2026  Dolly Watkins She has had her little issues and we gave her time. She ran very well in Down Royal after a lengthy break and I was hoping she'd go close today. It was foot issues that she has had, but we have a very good farrier who has done a great job with her.

Navan Sun, 8th Feb, 2026  Coyote Spirit they went a good gallop, the ground is very soft and Coyote Spirit got through it, but Jack said it was hard work. He mightn't want it that soft although the strong gallop might have suited. He had a good run in Leopardstown a couple of runs ago.
