Limerick Thu, 16th Apr, 2026  Springboard I thought the ground was too heavy for him because we always felt he wanted better ground. What worked in his favour was it was a two-miles race and he really stays 2m4f, so flew home. I told Cian to ride the horse as he finds him, but you can't really give jockeys like him instructions as he won a Grade 1 race recently and is a good jockey. The horse had a problem with a leg in the past and had a layoff, but is back now.

Wexford Fri, 10th Apr, 2026  Ifallgoeswell It's great to get the win with him, he had been very consistent. He had his ground today. We ran him last weekend and the plan wasn't to come back as quick, but this didn't look a great race. We'll tip away with him now.

Limerick Thu, 12th Mar, 2026  Kings Hill He is a good horse, but didn't get the rub of the green for a while and he had surgery on a kissing spine. Since he started jumping fences, he is a different horse and he is entitled to win today's race with his run in the Supreme (Novices Hurdle of 2024). He will be better on better ground and his time of year is coming, so we'll place him as we go by. I would have loved him to go to Cheltenham, but one of his owners preferred to stay home with him and, with the slow year we've had, the horses are only coming back to form now. We're better off to get a winner here. Jack is at home with us three days a week, is now with Oliver McKiernan and other local trainers, but it is hard for these guys who are attached to small yards.
