Curragh Wed, 3rd Jun, 2026  Sommelier His past form was a class above these,. Rob bought him on spec, he had a few issue and injuries and we let him off. It took a few runs to get his confidence back. He worked very well last Saturday and we said he was a class above these and he showed it today. He’s got loads to pace. He was second to Big Evs in a stakes races at York and he dropped down to 70 here with Paddy claiming another 5lb. It doesn’t always work out though. I’m delighted for Rob, it’s his first winner. He’s in on Sunday at Navan, under a penalty, so I might go there.

Cork Tue, 19th May, 2026  Pacioli He is very green and was also green when he ran here a few weeks ago. He missed a lot of last year as he was very weak, so has never even led at home. We thought he'd want better ground, but didn't know really, and all he could do was do what he did. He is a very laid-back horse who gallops away at home, but is a very lazy type of horse. He obviously gets seven furlongs and will now go to the July Sales. We have to trade on these horses and the Atomic Racing ones aren't kept beyond their three-year-old careers. There is plenty of improvement in this horse, as he missed all of last year's education and we didn't even get him away to the Curragh (gallops) this year either. We ran him as these horses really have to be out before Royal Ascot (in June) to be worth any money.
