Cork Sun, 14th Jun, 2026  Gleneagle Bay At long last he has delivered for us. We will have him two years by next month and he has run in all the big races but has been the bridesmaid on several occasions. He handled soft ground on a couple of occasions last year, but I think it isn't suiting him anymore and as a result he has dropped to a nice mark. We were hoping he'd come alive back on today's fast ground and it is good timing ahead of Jagged Edge's run at Royal Ascot next week. I'm delighted for Amo and that's their first winner for me. He had been bought for Royal Ascot last year where he ran a cracker from a low draw. Kia (Joorabchian) rang me during the week to see about entering him for the Buckingham Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot but he would have been too low to get in so we'll see now and toy with the idea of running him on fast ground in the UK.

Fairyhouse Fri, 12th Jun, 2026  Dreamkeeper She caught me a little bit by surprise, winning as easily as that,. I was hoping she had a chance, she got stuck in the mud in Cork. She had a good run first time and we went to Cork thinking we had a chance, and probably shouldn’t have run her on the heavy ground. I’m a bit stunned to see her run away from them like that. Colin said she’d go further and she loved the ground. We haven’t really thought any further than today, so we’ll see what’s coming up. She’s a nice filly and hopefully she’s lucky for them.

Fairyhouse Thu, 28th May, 2026  Spirit Of Eagles She’s just been an unlucky filly really. She’s a drop in sprinter and she always seems to find trouble,. Everything went well today and the splits came when they should have. We were going to run her in the handicap but I didn’t want her finding trouble on the way round so when there were a handful of runners in this we said we’d have a crack at it. She should have won twice last season, she’s been unlucky all the way through, so it’s nice to get head in front. If she’s not claimed she could come back up here, there are races here for her every week for the next three weeks.

Navan Sat, 25th Apr, 2026  Latin America He is a nice horse. He was one of our better two-year-olds last year, got a few little hold ups. I was keen to run him this year early in the season on bad ground and he ran very well (second). I think it was a good race at the Curragh. This was a perfect race for him here today – a mile and a quarter around Navan would suit him really well. Ben says when he hit the front, he’s still learning a little bit, but he should come on a lot from today’s experience and he’s going to have to because we will probably step him up in class now. That uphill finish here and that’s the first time he would have experienced that faster ground as well, so I think he will have learned a lot today.

Fairyhouse Sat, 21st Feb, 2026  Blow Wind Blow That was nice. He loves that soft ground,. It was probably an ordinary enough race he won in Thurles but the way he came up the straight there, he was loving it. I can’t wait for him to go over fences next season. He’s still only five.
