Galway Mon, 7th Sep, 2026  Inthenickoftime The hill made a big difference to him and Simon said he was flat out going down to the second-last. We were thinking maybe another half-a-mile might suit him, but the hill just suited well. He’s rated 117 over fences and won in the ‘110’ grade here last October, but I don’t know if there is a 0-120 for him next month. There might be another hurdle in him too and he’s a home-bred, so it’s great.

Bellewstown Wed, 26th Aug, 2026  Daboya I was delighted when they (three hurdles) came out, it was more like a Flat race. As well as that, she had so little experience, she won in Thurles after jumping really novicey. She has only had three runs (over hurdles), and we didn't do a lot of schooling with her. Danny sits up on her the odd day and does a lovely job for us. She has been in great form all summer, she has won two and was second in Tramore the last day. She's a tough mare. We'll look for another one of those mares' novices' hurdles probably, and maybe go back on the Flat too, until the ground gets heavy. Going the right way and she is going to stay anyway - for a Flat horse, she saw it out well.

Leopardstown Thu, 20th Aug, 2026  Tachos I'm delighted with her. She's been a very genuine filly. She ran a very good race here two weeks ago from a 25 draw, she ran third. I thought, with a decent draw today, she'd win. She's very consistent round here, loves Leopardstown, and always runs well no matter what draw she has. I would hope to come back here on Champions Weekend for the Fillies and Mares Handicap.

Leopardstown Thu, 16th Jul, 2026  Ballyskeagh Dylan just said she still felt quite green and, is still immature. At the same time, he couldn't fault her from a wide draw. You'd like to think she's a filly that will have no trouble going a mile in time. The last day, she actually just fell out of the gates and, around Roscommon it's kind of all over. Her last furlong-and-a-half was pretty good and, we thought if she could get a better spot today, she'd be a lot closer to the Bolger filly and, that's how it worked out.

The syndicate are all from nearby in Thomastown, so they're out in force.

Ballinrobe Mon, 22nd Jun, 2026  Daboya She just takes a bit of time to come to hand every year, but her last run at Gowran told us that she was finding her form. She had an ideal draw in three and got a good position. She can be a bit leery and behind the bridle, but today she travelled well for Sam. She'll go back over hurdles before long and she'll probably go to Galway.

Cork Sun, 14th Jun, 2026  Gleneagle Bay At long last he has delivered for us. We will have him two years by next month and he has run in all the big races but has been the bridesmaid on several occasions. He handled soft ground on a couple of occasions last year, but I think it isn't suiting him anymore and as a result he has dropped to a nice mark. We were hoping he'd come alive back on today's fast ground and it is good timing ahead of Jagged Edge's run at Royal Ascot next week. I'm delighted for Amo and that's their first winner for me. He had been bought for Royal Ascot last year where he ran a cracker from a low draw. Kia (Joorabchian) rang me during the week to see about entering him for the Buckingham Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot but he would have been too low to get in so we'll see now and toy with the idea of running him on fast ground in the UK.

Fairyhouse Fri, 12th Jun, 2026  Dreamkeeper She caught me a little bit by surprise, winning as easily as that,. I was hoping she had a chance, she got stuck in the mud in Cork. She had a good run first time and we went to Cork thinking we had a chance, and probably shouldn’t have run her on the heavy ground. I’m a bit stunned to see her run away from them like that. Colin said she’d go further and she loved the ground. We haven’t really thought any further than today, so we’ll see what’s coming up. She’s a nice filly and hopefully she’s lucky for them.

Fairyhouse Thu, 28th May, 2026  Spirit Of Eagles She’s just been an unlucky filly really. She’s a drop in sprinter and she always seems to find trouble,. Everything went well today and the splits came when they should have. We were going to run her in the handicap but I didn’t want her finding trouble on the way round so when there were a handful of runners in this we said we’d have a crack at it. She should have won twice last season, she’s been unlucky all the way through, so it’s nice to get head in front. If she’s not claimed she could come back up here, there are races here for her every week for the next three weeks.
