Downpatrick Mon, 31st Aug, 2026  Driveonwill He was unlucky here at Downpatrick before Galway. Donagh couldn't get over how well he travelled today. He gets on very well with the horse and I'm delighted for him as well. We have been hitting the crossbar the last couple of weeks and a few near misses, so it was lovely for us. He's a lovely horse and I’m delighted for the people that own him, they are from Meath, and Paul Garvey would be the head of the syndicate. He would be a friend of ours and he actually built our house. I'd say definitely (look to come back to Downpatrick), because he could nearly have three won here (unseated in June). Obviously, horses for courses. We'll have to come back here again. He's a good, honest horse. I thought with the weight, giving a stone to the favourite, that it might catch him out, but Donagh said he felt great and he loved the ground.

Tramore Thu, 13th Aug, 2026  The Cobblers Wife I don't know who benefitted financially, but there seemed to be a lot of money for her. Mick doesn't bet and I didn't back her. She had a good run here her for her previous trainer on her second last start. She's well handicapped and if she can improve a little and build on that we'll go for the same type of race again. I don't know much about her. I only have her seven or eight weeks. She's a very straightforward filly that seems to like good ground. We'll make hay while the sun is shining.

Kilbeggan Sat, 8th Aug, 2026  Cooladdi That was nice, he’s been promising to do that. He’s not a superstar but he’s tough. The way he hit the line there, a step up in trip wouldn’t do him any harm either. They looked like they were coming to do him for a bit of toe going to the last but Kieren had him striding on well and he winged the last. He toughed it out well. I don’t know how strong the maiden hurdle was. I know Tyson Fury hasn’t won in this code but he’s a good Flat horse. Hopefully we can progress and he’ll be a nice horse over fences.

Cork Fri, 10th Jul, 2026  Hilly Filly Delighted with that, Lee gave her a lovely ride. You'd see the whole way round that she's quite green. We wanted to give her an educational ride and Lee done exactly that. . She always showed snippets of ability at home, so it's great that she went and done it today. And for Geoff (Angus), this is the second horse he's had in the yard. The first one didn't work out too well! She's a lovely filly and I'm delighted that she's done the job for him.

Wexford Tue, 30th Jun, 2026  Garnacho He was good. It was a novice chase, he was well suited as he got a few pounds off his back for not winning a race. It was great for Tom (O'Connor) to get a winner over fences as well too.

Downpatrick Fri, 8th May, 2026  Sea Of Doubt Josh said they went a really good gallop, and always knew he was going to get there. He gave her a great ride. He is well worth his 5lb claim and is in with us every Monday for the last six months. He is a good young lad, works hard and we are happy to be able to use him. We were disappointed with her last year when it just took her a long time to learn how to race and she had plenty of good runs without winning. She was either be too keen or jump badly, whereas she put it all together today. She'll mix and match over fences for the summer and this is a good start.

Downpatrick Fri, 8th May, 2026  Endless Talking He made the running in his point-to-point as well and he's quite a free, forward-going horse. He actually settled lovely in front and had a good look at his hurdles. Jumped well, jumped a bit big everywhere but he had plenty of time to get a good breather into him. Absolutely (could build his confidence) and loves that good ground.

Tramore Mon, 20th Apr, 2026  Just For One That's my second track winner. I had my first on Winter Fog (April, 2021). His last two runs were disappointing, but we knew he was back in good form. He had a very good run at Limerick over Christmas. We ran him at Gowran then and we shouldn't have ran him on the heavy ground there. He scoped dirty after his run the last day. The lads riding him at home said he was flying. The trip was a bit sharp for him today, but he stayed on well up the hill. He's work at home has been very good.
