Kilbeggan Fri, 4th Sep, 2026  Minella Cyclone I don’t think I’ve ever had a better horse. He’s a real good horse,. We were giving him a run today to be honest, we thought he’d come on from it. He’s probably six weeks away from being hard fit. He was a different class, he won just through pure class. No screws have been turned on this horse yet. He’s a winter horse really, he’s 17 hands plus. We’ll go to Cheltenham in November with him.

Killarney Fri, 21st Aug, 2026  Gaoth Chuil I remember this used to be the Carling-sponsored Gold Cup back in the Tralee days, and it was a famous race to win,. I never even had a runner in it and when it was moved from Tralee, it just lost its buzz. . This is lovely though, and Micheal has been with me up-and-down with different horses since my father died in 1990. Aside from Micheal, I only have JP (McManus) and Mrs Moran's kids as owners nowadays, and he is a great fella. . She has €180,000 won in prize money and is a right little mare, but I made a mistake to go jumping fences with her. She jumps them, but doesn't take them on. . The ground in Galway was unraceable for Flat horses by the time she got to run, and in fairness to Chris Hayes, he looked after her. She could run in the November Handicap.

Killarney Tue, 14th Jul, 2026  Gaoth Chuil She’s a right little mare. She stays well and handles that two miles. The ground wouldn’t want to be any quicker for her,. She’d want an ease in it but it’s safe. Colin Keane rang me last night, because he had ridden her in Cork, and said the ground was as safe as you’d like and you could run anything on it. If she reproduced her Leopardstown run she’d be hard to beat. She’s not totally in love with jumping a fence. She jumps it but she doesn’t attack it. She’ll go to Galway, whatever she gets in to. If she got into the big amateur handicap she’d run in it but if not there is a two mile handicap for her.

Wexford Fri, 3rd Jul, 2026  He Who Dares I crept away, they went very quick so they came back to me and it worked out well. The horses came back on top of me a little bit but in fairness to him he was brave and kept going to the line. I just happened to be in the right position throughout the race. Hopefully he’ll pick away during the summer, he likes good ground. The good ground was a big help to him.

Leopardstown Thu, 18th Jun, 2026  Gaoth Chuil Her runs were good enough to suggest be there or thereabouts. This time last year, she was fourth in it behind two good horses, Royal Hollow and McManus's good horse (A Dream To Share). Could have been second. She might win a two-mile handicap on the Flat. She's just not mad about fences. There is a difference between jumping and attacking. She doesn't just attack a fence - she jumps it, but she doesn't attack it. You need to do that especially in the summertime.

Kilbeggan Fri, 15th May, 2026  Shellrunforbriggs She’s a good mare, she’s big and scopey. . In fairness to these small tracks around the country, they do a great job and we’re delighted to be able to come up. We got great word on the track from the last meeting, and the agent Gary Cribbin told us we’d be guaranteed that type of ground. My career is shoving on a bit now and we’re lucky to come across a mare like her. She’s actually a homebred. We produced the mother for the lads (Going Stone Mad Syndicate) and they went to Harzand themselves with her. I told the boys that we’ll surely be heading for some kind of a race in the likes of Cheltenham in maybe December. She has the scope to do it anyway, her jumping is something else.
