Downpatrick Fri, 18th Sep, 2026  Might Be The One She's not winning out of turn - we thought she won in Limerick at Christmas last year and it turned out in the photo-finish that we were beaten,. She had been good and consistent last year. She went straight from point-to-pointing to racing, so perhaps the break has done her well. She was placed four times last season, she was running well, but maybe she has come back a little bit better. She's a lovely, sweet filly, so delighted for the owners (O'Rourke Construction Ltd) that she has got her head in front. We might go chasing straight away with her. She was (professional when she took it up) - she can be a little bit keen at home, so Conor got a little bit of cover and dropped down the inner and she settled very nicely for him. She jumped brilliantly for him, and we said that she is not short of a bit of toe, so I said to leave it until the back of the last. He timed it exactly for that.

Galway Tue, 28th Jul, 2026  Lizzie Twigg She is a nice mare and to be fair, she should be unbeaten as I became greedy at the end of last season and ran her back quickly in the Punchestown bumper, where she was flat,. She has been showing us all the right things and I don't think she wants real winter ground, and is a spring filly. She is one for the festivals and I like her. I've tried to sell her after every run but couldn't, for whatever reason. I nearly had her sold to America recently but thankfully she wasn't and she could be a right one for the graded novice at Down Royal in November.

Punchestown Sat, 6th Jun, 2026  Lizzie Twigg She’s a good mare. She won her bumper and I ran her too quick then in Fairyhouse. She jumped well there today and we're delighted. We’ll look for some black-type now, that would be important. She’s for sale and is a nice mare going forward.

Curragh Wed, 3rd Jun, 2026  Poetic Sound I’m delighted for Kerri, it’s the first winner in her colours. She rides him out every day,. He’s been a slow burner, he’s had his issues. He’s just a pet. The idea was to run him away, and he’ll go up and down the handicap, and have a bit of fun with him. Sure it would be bad manners not to go over and enjoy the Ebor if he’s alive and well. It’s all about going up and down the handicaps. When the horses are running bad they get dropped, it’s hard work when they are running bad but there is always a turn. He just lost it last year and he looked like he had given up. He’s the slowest horse in the yard by a trillion miles! I never know how he is going to run but Colin said it’s the best he’s ever felt.

Wexford Sat, 16th May, 2026  Dromana Mist she’s a lovely mare and I had the race mapped out from last week. She needed to have a run in Cork to qualify and while I know it’s the wrong thing to do running them six days later, she licked her pot on Sunday night and I freshened her up. I’m in Stradbally, Co. Waterford so use the beach every day. She was rolling and bucking so I said I’d declare her and see. Today’s race was perfect and she qualifies for the Weatherbys bonus, so this is a fair pot. We only have her 10 months, she’s a classy kind of a mare and when she came out of the ring unsold at the Derby Sale, we followed her down and bought her. I’d have 12 to 15 horses in the whole time, four or five pre-trainers and a couple for the track. A nice few owners have come back to me recently, I have the licence since last year and I’m only getting going. Dylan is my cousin, he’s back from England where he rode a few winners.

Sligo Tue, 12th May, 2026  In A Sonnet He disappointed on very soft ground at Navan (fourth). He's a good-ground horse, and he showed a good attitude there.
