Roscommon Mon, 11th May, 2026  Cisterna He was knocking on the door. . He was second in a nursery, but then disappointed a bit and we were doubting his resolution at times. Another owner had him, and I told the lads to buy him as he’d win a race for them. He’s done that. He’ll tip away. That was a 0-70 and he’ll still get into another one. He would have got into a 0-60 but there wasn’t one for him. John Quinn, a member of the (Alltheblues) syndicate, lives in Monaghan now but he’s born and reared two miles up the road from here.

Roscommon Mon, 11th May, 2026  Kitty Bear She got no run in Gowran the last day. In those 0-60 handicaps, when things go your way, you have a chance. . That’s three she’s won now. I bought her for two grand so we’ve had a bit of fun out of her. She probably should have won more, she was hitting the front too soon in Dundalk. I had to tell her to hold her up a little bit and take her time, she was idling in front and probably got beat a couple of times she shouldn’t have. She’s in the 70s now so she’s going to find it a bit tougher. We’re running her every week and we’ll keep running her until she tells us to stop. Orla gets on well with her, they are a good team.

Naas Sat, 9th May, 2026  Bint Majestic Roi We were worried about the ground. She'd probably have been a very unlucky loser if she got beat as she got no run. She just lacks a bit of toe on that ground. Probably 7f she wants really; that's her trip. Andrew didn't want me to run her. He said the ground was too quick. I said that I wanted to see if she was one for the Scurrys over six-and-a-half. She had to win today to go for that. That's the plan now.

Gowran Park Tue, 5th May, 2026  Aurora Mist We fancied her the last day and she ran stink. We found out that she had an entrapped epiglottis and she had an operation for it. That explains the improvement,. She got a lovely run down the inner and she gave her a lovely ride. I’m hoping she’ll improve from that, I don’t think she was fully straight today and she said she had a blow at the furlong pole. The handicapper can’t do much to her for that.
