Cork Thu, 19th Mar, 2026  Royal Gladiator Stephen (O’Connor) sponsors me and he’s the master of the hunt with the Ward Union. It’s a good connection. I was inclined to get him rolling off the bend, I knew he wouldn’t win a sprint so I wanted to get him rolling. He jumped the last two well and that’s what won it for me. We’d be hoping that he’d turn into a Dunboyne type of horse.

Down Royal Tue, 17th Mar, 2026  Pat's Legacy We were very disappointed in him in Fairyhouse (second) - he's a big, immature horse and it has taken a long time for the penny to drop. It looks like it is dropping there now. He'll probably go straight to the final (in Punchestown) now, and he will be a nice chaser for next year. He's very versatile ground-wise - Keith (Donoghue) rode him on proper heavy a few days and he handled it, and he ran well with Donagh (Meyler) in Leopardstown on better ground.
