Naas Mon, 3rd Aug, 2026  Red Evolution We just wanted to get this lad a bit of a confidence booster. He’s been pitched into two high-class handicaps at the Curragh this year,. said O’Callaghan. We felt dropping in grade would help and sticking at six. Dylan was happy with him today. He said he jumped well, travelled and was able to get a tow into the race and hit the line strongly. He felt like that should have helped him plenty confidence-wise and he thought he was probably better than the winning margin. We’ll probably stick to six for now and have a look at the programme book. We’ll see what the handicapper does with him. Last year he looked like a very progressive, and potentially high-class sprinter. Hopefully now we can get him back into that group. Dylan said the stiff six is key to him. There was enough pace early today that he was able to relax and get him into a rhythm.

Curragh Sat, 18th Jul, 2026  Celeron John Fleming was a massive supporter of our yard and me from a young age. None of this would have been possible without him. He kept me going through thick and thin and this is for him. Any day you can get Oisin is a bonus. He gave him a great ride. I was a little bit worried about the trip today; six furlongs looks like his minimum now. He won his maiden over six furlongs but, when this horse steps up to seven furlongs or even a mile, we'll see the best of him. Oisin said it was only because of his class he got through. He found the pace mid-race a little bit hot, but he said the horse has plenty of class and took plenty of pulling up. His next race will be over seven furlongs and he could be a horse to go a mile next May.

Fairyhouse Wed, 8th Jul, 2026  Bamako Beach It’s a big relief. He’s a horse that we hold in extremely high regard and obviously we pitched him in at the deep end last time. You’d always be a little bit nervous with a horse that is highly rated running in a maiden. Colin kept it simple, he said the ground was as tight as he’d want it and he was a little bit lonely when he got there. He was a little bit green, he’s never been in front. We’re actually figuring him out too, he’s still a bit immature horse. He said he’s a seven-furlong horse in a good race with a bit more kindness in the ground. He said he could be a good horse and he’s better than the winning margin. I’m very pleased for everyone involved because he’s always been held in high regard. This is his fourth start to win his maiden, but he’s rated 102. It’s a big box ticked. We’ll start to pick some targets now, from a month’s time on. The autumn is probably his time. We’ll look at some seven furlong targets with him and we will travel, he might go to France and places like that.
