FormscanBy Donal Murphy - HOLDING PATTERN looks the one to beat here. The daughter of Teofilo won a bumper on debut at Thurles last October, and got off the mark on her first try over flights at Punchestown in May. She since finished second at Down Royal, and switching to the level now she should have too much class for her ten rivals. The Joseph O'Brien trained Treasure Chest is given second preference. He was successful over flights on his last start at Kilbeggan, with three subsequent winners in behind. He has already been placed three times from four starts under Flat rules, and another bold bid can be expected from him now with Donnacha O’Brien in the saddle. Renaissance Man, who is a half-brother to 2011 Ribblesdale winner Banimpire, has two good efforts to his name, and looks to have solid each-way claims. German import Party Playboy is an interesting contender for Tony Mullins, while Navajo Ridge also can't be ruled out.
