Formscan - Nick Scholfield almost enjoyed a winner with his first runner as a trainer when ST IRENE found only one too strong at Newbury. The grey showed useful bumper form in smart company for Ben Brookhouse and sets a decent standard in this. Miss Tiara also occupied the runner-up berth on her latest outing, although there was less substance to that Exeter contest. Border Gem and Jetty May could be the ones to fight out second.
