Noble Birth He did it well and Jack gave him a great ride. He stays well. All of mine ran well tonight but we thought this lad was our best chance, so we're happy. |

Happy D'ex She's been a bit disappointing to be honest and she's one we're thinking of moving on in September,. Jack said the fast gallop suited her well today and I'll have a chat now with the two Daves (of winning owners KTDA Racing) and see what they think, whether we keep her or move her on. It was a nice performance to get her head in front because she has been disappointing. She won a point-to-point and was recommended to us strongly. We won't mention any names but he knows who we are talking about!. She's won a bumper and won a maiden hurdle and if every horse did that it would be great. I think she can build on that and the way she jumps she'll definitely jump a fence as well. |

Salvador Ziggy Davy is great, he's getting on in years now so we are kind of minding him and picking and choosing what we put him on. He's a great jockey and I'm very lucky to be in the position I am to have all the jockeys I have. Russell is 43 or 44 years of age now but he's like good wine, he's getting better as he gets on. He's not going to ride much this year, we'll pick and choose what to put him on, but on the big day there is no-one better. |

Royal Eagle It was great and Adam's (Lord, owner) two sons Adam and Jack have done a lot of work with her at home. One of the first horses I had in training Salford City, who Adam owned, got me going and it is nice to get another winner for him. She had a low weight and I thought she'd run alright as she was getting a stone off the favourite and had a good run at Dundalk the last day. She liked the ground and jumped well. She will win on the flat and will mix between hurdles and the Flat and we'll think about the Lartigue Hurdle (Listowel in September) for her. Jack (Kennedy) said they went no gallop and it didn't suit As Tears Go By. That probably played into Jordan's (Gainford) hands as the winner had Flat speed. |

Ash Tree Meadow at Wexford in May the ground was very quick and he got a fright (jumping right) but he was good there. He did it well and was also good in Perth the last couple of days. I'll give him a break now and bring him back for Cheltenham in October. He is a grand horse. |

The Insider He travelled into it well, Jordan said they went quick and he arrived travelling nearly too well turning in. He was bought to go to America and the plan is for him to go there for the owners. It will be hard for him from now on (in Ireland) as he looks an early three-year-old (hurdler). Obviously the other one (Chargo) was our more fancied runner but that's horse racing and you have to jump, that's the name of the game. Jack (Kennedy) said she was much too keen. |

Ebasari Jack is usually not far wrong. We were a bit worried about fitness. Jack went for this lad, he probably had the better form in the book. If you go back and have a look at it (Boodles), it wasn't that disappointing, he never got into the race. It was a very, very messy race. It was obviously disappointing on the day, but the race didn't work out. He's a nice horse and we'll have a bit of fun with him. We'll mix and match on the Flat and over jumps with him. He looks like he is well handicapped on the Flat. He travelled today like he did in Cork the first day with Davy Russell, so he's a nice horse. Galway was originally where I was going to go, but this race came along and we had to take our chance. Whether Galway comes a bit soon, I don't know. I'll have a talk with the lads and see what they think. The owners are good Summerhill people, you can't beat them! They were all watching Summerhill last night playing football. Douglas Dc ran a good race, Jordan said he didn't handle the track. |
