We were ready to rock and roll for the Irish Lincoln but unfortunately he scoped poorly the week of the race, so we just had to sit and wait,. It's obviously been a very difficult winter to get these horses right for the spring but every trainer is in the same boat. I just had to take my time with this horse.Ã . He had been showing all the right signals at home and, we felt he was just ready to start. We had to back off him and, we had to load him with antibiotics there for a month so, he was just ready to start. Hopefully now the horse has a bright summer in front of him.Ã . We'll have to see what the handicapper does to him but we might make a Royal Hunt Cup entry tomorrow. Hopefully he'll develop into a stakes horse later in the season.

both my horses ran super and Coeur D’Or (winner in 2023) ran a cracker finishing fourth. I’m delighted with Jagged Edge. He’s a big horse, loves to be fresh and when he won for us in Cork, he looked like he was going to go on but just lost his way. We left him alone and he’s come back nicely. The ground was probably ideal for him and today was the day. I was delighted for Maurice Regan and Newtown Anner (sponsors of the earlier juvenile Group 3 fillies’ race), who are great supporters of mine and they bred him. I was delighted that Maurice’s mum Patricia was here today, she’s a great lady.
