Formscan By Eamonn Murphy - Tom Mullins and John McConnell are both two-handed here, and the former also has the reserve. Mullins has Colin Keane on Canford Light, Shane Foley on Toughari and Joe Doyle on Rock Chica (reserve), so stand-by for a strong assault on this prize from the Doninga handler. How all these go in the betting should be revealing, but for a selection a chance is taken on KASMIYRA. She lacks experience as she makes her handicap debut on outing number four. Surely from a mark of 65 the daughter of Free Eagle can be competitive though, and it’s interesting to reflect on comments Michael Halford made on the three-year-old back in May. Kasmiyra is said to have a good temperament and likely to be one that will progress with racing. Custers Mistake, Easca Peasca and Paso Doble will be on plenty of short-lists too.
