Formscan By Alan Magee - YAMATO has won three times on the all-weather including over this trip at Wolverhampton and has been in good form under both codes in recent months. The John McConnell-trained gelding took a 2m6f Navan handicap hurdle in good style and also came out on top in another big field at Navan last time over 1m6f. He now returns to the polytrack for the time in nearly two years. Stablemate Clondaw Hollow also has plenty to recommend, while Sharjah is something of a Dundalk legend with nine wins on the surface and remains competitive off a basement mark. Noble Expression held a rating in the 80’s a few years ago and any market move would be interesting.
