Permission was given for Vision De Maine (FR) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference between the second and third fence down the back straight when Muskoka (IRE), placed second, ridden by Rex Dingle interfered with Safe Destination (GB), unplaced, ridden by Sam Twiston-Davies.
Dingle was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift right-handed towards the rail causing Twiston-Davies to take a slight check.
An enquiry was held to consider interference after the third last fence involving the winner Montregard (FR), ridden by Richie McLernon; The Boola Boss (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Bryony Frost and Safe Destination (GB), unplaced, ridden by Sam Twiston-Davies.
The interference was found to be accidental as in the first instance The Boola Boss (IRE) moved slightly left-handed to avoid making contact with the rail having jumped the third last fence on the inside and landing to the right, this caused Safe Destination (GB) to become tightened for room between The Boola Boss (IRE) and Montregard (FR).
Over the subsequent few strides Montregard (FR) lugged right-handed into Safe Destination (GB) following contact from the gelding despite the riders attempts to straighten his mount, which resulted in the rider of Safe Destination (GB) having to take a check when tight for room between Montregard (FR) and The Boola Boss (IRE).
