Permission was given for Guernsey Angel (GB) to go early to post wearing a red hood and for Fortification (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
Approximately 2 ½ furlongs out, the winner, Ambishio (IRE), lugged right-handed, carrying Guernsey Angel (GB), unplaced, slightly off its intended line, leaving Magic Stone (IRE), unplaced, short of room on the rail, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Ambishio (IRE).
Just inside the 2 furlong marker, when racing in close proximity, Fortification (GB), placed third, edged right-handed, causing Jack The Bachelor (IRE), placed fourth, to become momentarily short of room, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Fortification (GB).
Following the race, Tom Marquand reported that Magic Stone (IRE), unplaced, suffered interference approximately 2 ½ furlongs out and Alex Jary reported that Jack The Bachelor (IRE), placed fourth, suffered interference just inside the 2 furlong marker.
