Scott Dixon was fined £500 for failing to notify either the Racing Calendar Office or the Clerk of the Scales in a timely manner that Rohilla (IRE) was a non-runner.
Approximately 1 ½ furlongs from the line, My Brother Mike (IRE), unplaced, ran out of racing room, resulting in the gelding’s rider having to switch left-handed for clear running, bumping a weakening Marisitta (GB), unplaced, in the process, which unbalanced both horses, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
The winner, Time After Time (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Wolverhampton on 22 July 2025, where the filly finished fifth of nine runners, beaten by 2 lengths.
The representative of Heather Main had no explanation for Time After Time (IRE)’s improved form.
Time After Time (IRE) was routine tested.
The performance of Scenario (GB), which finished seventh of fifteen runners, was considered.
The representative of Jack Jones' explanation that Scenario (GB) was unsuited by the undulating nature of the track on this occasion, was noted.
Following the race, Joe Leavy reported that Westington House (USA), unplaced, stopped quickly; the Veterinary Officer reported that Vecchio (IRE), unplaced, was treated for post-race ataxia; and Connor Planas reported that My Brother Mike (IRE), unplaced, was denied a clear run approximately 1 ½ furlongs from the line.
