Permission was given for Rogue De Vega (GB) to go early to post, for Second Collection (GB) to go early to post wearing a red hood, for Symbol of Hope (GB) to go early to post and to be mounted on the chute and for Sarabi (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference exiting the back straight involving the winner, Rogue De Vega (GB), ridden by Cam Hardie, Symbol of Hope (GB), unplaced, ridden by Finley Marsh and Second Collection (GB), placed fourth, ridden by William Carson.
The interference was found to be accidental and was caused by a free-running Rogue De Vega (GB) shifting slightly right-handed off the inside rail to avoid the heels of Juno Star (IRE), placed third, hampering Symbol of Hope (GB) which in turn gave a bump to Second Collection (GB), turning its hindquarters.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that the winner, Rogue De Vega (GB), had bled from the nose.
