Permission was given for BOBBI’S BEAUTY (IRE) to wear a red hood to the start.
Tommy Dillion (IRE), trained by Richard Rowe, was late to enter the parade ring as they had difficulties with the girths while saddling.
The apparent improvement in form of the winner, River Run Free (IRE), which had never previously been placed, was considered.
David Pipe was interviewed.
